I met Erwin at work. A casual acquaintance – we talked about our lives and I had to admit that I was not very happy with my job life at this time. I complained to him about a lot of things, after having earned a master of science plus a postgraduate degree in clinical and health psychology I found myself in a job as administrator in a field that had nothing to do in the slightest with my previous studies. I felt underused and wanted to do “something” where I could use my education and experience and “something” that would be more of a challenge than typing letters and answering the phone. But I simply didn’t have a clue what that could be and moreover deep down subconsciously I also didn’t really think about myself that I would be capable of a better job. Erwin suggested some coaching lessons – I agreed though I wasn’t quite convinced that this would have any effect on me. Erwin started to work with me on my lack of self esteem and the lack of orientation concerning my job goals. Gradually my perceptions of what I could accomplish in life began to change and I started to get a vision about my future job life. It was an intense process that Erwin put me through but we have been successful in the end! I have reached my goal and managed to get the job of my dreams. Instead of being an administrator and wasting my time looking for badly paid administrator jobs I find myself now in highly remunerated management position, in a field that matches my qualifications and interests and moreover I am working for a highly reputable company abroad – like I’ve always dreamt of. Thanks to the continuous support of Erwin I don’t feel that I have any restrictions in reaching whatever I want to – it’s all within me!
